<p>An examination of the properties revealed unique motifs at each individual location, but all within a unified environment – one built on chic design and upscale ambiance. Working closely with EMM Group’s interior design team ICRAVE to ensure a cohesive brand story, we’ve been able to capture this paradox in its essence through brand design and creative collateral, all designed to tell the story of the venue itself.</p>
<p>Elegant, simple designs keep EMM Group’s collateral assets in-line with both the overall brand message and the theme of their specific source.  Each logo design and corresponding creative collateral asset exudes effortless luxury and complements the mission of the venue.</p>

<p>Eugene Remm and <a title="EMM Group" href="http://emmgroupinc.com" target="_blank">Mark Birnbaum</a> along with business entrepreneur Michael Hirtenstein founded EMM Group, one of New York&#8217;s most successful restaurant and nightlife management companies, in 2006. EMM Group approached RJW when both the hospitality company was in its infancy. At the relationship’s conception, RJW was tasked with simple invitation design and marketing collateral. Since then, the relationship has grown to encompass logo design and brand development, creative direction, digital strategy and strategic partnerships. The goal of the partnership has evolved, in step with the with the hospitality group, to where it is today: unify EMM Group’s various restaurants and clubs under a single brand identity.</p>

All applications are welcome; we will pair each intern with a manager from one of the following departments: Design, Digital and Accounts (interns will be assigned based on aptitude and interest).</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>Design</em>: RJW works in a variety of mediums, including print, digital and out of home. Graphic design interns will have the opportunity to touch several if not all of them and learn about the associated production process. Related skills like photography and filmmaking are extremely valuable as each project has its own unique requirements. Essentially, if you&#8217;re creative, we want to hear about it.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>Digital</em>: Spend most of your time in front of a computer? Us too. Whether you study computer science, tweet 50 times a day or dream in website form, you&#8217;ll fit in with our digital squad. Interns in this department will have the opportunity to learn about web development, social media management and digital marketing strategy.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>Accounts</em>: Life as an Account Executive involves managing client relationships and as well as the projects they task us with. Fancy yourself a proto Pete Campbell? Is your Blackberry surgically attached to your head? Accounts Department interns will  learn about managing client relationships as well as being an all-around marketing rock star.</p>

<p>College credit is available &#8211; Interns will be assigned a final project incorporating all of the skills they will develop throughout the program.</p>

<p>- Developing and managing project/client timelines and deadlines with all functional teams</p>
<p>- Ensuring that company procedures are followed</p>
<p>- Leading new business proposals and responses and crafting project proposals, budgets and timelines</p>
<p>- Running and managing client meetings and phone calls</p>
<p>- Maintaining good relations with all clients</p>
<p>- Handling all incoming creative and other requests from current and prospective clients</p>

<p><strong>Desired Skills/Experience</strong></p>
<p>The Account Executive should show strengths in</p>
<p>- Marketing and Brand strategy &#8211; traditional and digital</p>
<p>- Understanding elements of graphic design, digital mediums (especially social media)</p>
<p>- Literacy in digital development (knowledge of coding languages and development timeline creation)</p>
<p>- Strong organizational project management, event production, and copywriting skills</p>
<p>- Excellent written and verbal communication as well MS Office knowledge</p>
<p>- Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 2 years of experience required</p>

<p><strong>Additional</strong></p>
<p>Experience in the advertising, media and/or technology industries, as well as a deeper knowledge of digital media and digital marketing strategy is preferred.</p>

All our employees are encouraged to be responsible for brainstorming creative concepts, developing original design concepts and in general bring good ideas to the table. Other responsibilities would include having the ability to learn and design towards various brand directions, participating in visual design presentations to clients, understanding how to prepare files for both digital and physical production, and working with other designers on large projects.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The senior visual designer should have:</p>
<p>- 3+ years of experience in both print &amp; digital design and art direction, creating large scale websites, applications, products, photography art direction and campaign ideation.</p>
<p>- A strong understanding of grid systems and an impeccable sense of typography and graphic design</p>
<p>- A conceptual thinker that can oversee their vision from concept to execution/production</p>
<p>- Stellar communication and presentation skills is considered a great resource</p>
<p>- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite</p>
